Dr. Matthew S.J. Katz, M.D.
Dr. Matthew S.J. Katz earned his medical degree from The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The Montefiore Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident. During this time he was twice awarded the Ronald M. Burde Award for Excellence in Resident Research. He is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the LIGHT International Retinal Laser Society. Dr. Katz has authored numerous publications including articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He has presented his research both nationally and internationally.
